We utilize all our home and garden waste by recycling. Organic waste is composted in Duby’s “Composters Farm”.

The two square composters are actually recycled garbage bins!

The waste from the kitchen, together with cut grass and shredded tree branches are added to the composter, along with chicken and cow manure and a bit of soil. When full, the composter is left alone for about a month, while we start the same procedure with another composter.
After some time, Duby lifts the composter away from the pile, turns it upside-down, and then puts it back into the composter to go on with the process. |

Half way between kitchen waste and ready compost, almost all ingredients lost their original look

When ready, the compost looks and smells like fresh moist soil. The compost is then screened, and spread around the fruit trees and flowers, enriching the soil. |
